The image depicts a bird's-eye view of a rustic village scene. It includes cottages, people, and a church. The horizon line is near the top, showing the steeple of the church above other buildings. There are detailed brushstrokes depicting textures like thatched roofs and trees. The color palette is predominantly sepia.
