This is an etching displaying a bust-length portrait of a person viewed slightly from the side, capturing the face and shoulders. The person is turned slightly to their right, with their face angled towards the viewer, displaying a wide grin that covers much of their facial features. They have curly, tousled hair partially covered by a fabric cap. Their attire includes a cloak draped over the shoulders and a shirt with visible buttons. The background of the etching is plain and nondescript, focusing attention on the individual.
