The color palette is mostly muted earth tones with occasional bright accents, like red hats. A grand building with ornate architecture is on the right, with lit windows.

This painting is a portrait of a woman from the torso upwards. She is positioned facing us. Her features include a fair complexion with dark blue eyes, a soft nose, and light pink lips. Her hair is blonde and partly visible below a black frilly bonnet that frames her face and extends below her shoulders. She is dressed in a white blouse with ruffled lace detailing around the neckline and cuffs, edged with a dark blue color. Surrounding her waist at the bottom of the painting are colorful flowers in shades of yellow, white, and pink, with small green leaves. The background is a plain beige color.
