Nothing is known about the artist except that he signed two medals, both of them dated 1460. They portray Borso d'Este (NGA 1957.14.627.a,b) and an unknown person, Beata Maria Anna of Siena (George Francis Hill, A Corpus of the Italian Medals of the Renaissance before Cellini, 2 vols., London, 1930: no. 95).
[This is the artist's biography published in the NGA systematic catalogue of Renaissance medals.]
