The image shows five individuals, mainly focusing on their faces and upper bodies. In the center is an older man with a beard and textured hair, looking warm. Around him are four younger individuals, two on each side. Their expressions vary, with some thoughtful and others focused. The young man on the left has curly hair, the young woman at the top right has wavy hair, and the two at the bottom have short hair. Each figure is outlined in white against a black background, with detailed facial features. The clothing is minimally detailed, and there is a cursive inscription at the bottom that reads "To my friend & advisor Dr. Schroeder 57."
