Milliken, Edward Fullerton

American, c. 1862 - 1906

Biography

Edward Fullerton Milliken was a civil engineer who followed his father into the iron and steel trade. As a young man Milliken was admitted into his father's business, becoming Vice President and a Director of Milliken Brothers iron and steel contractors. He and his brother Foster Milliken maintained the family firm until January 1906, when it was incorporated. Milliken was a member of several New York clubs, including the Larchmont Yacht Club, the University Club, and the Racquet Club. Milliken died at age 44 on 10 November 1906 after an operation for appendicitis at New York Hospital.
