The sculpture depicts a reclining male figure with muscular features, positioned in a relaxed pose. It is rendered in a monochromatic hue, likely due to the material, which appears to be stone or a similar substance. The figure leans back slightly against a large basin or urn, which features intricate details that resemble large leaves or petals. Below the figure, there is a stone representation of grape clusters and large leaves, adding to the naturalistic elements of the piece. The sculpture is captured in an outdoor setting with trees visible in the background.

The horizon is not distinctly visible, as the focus is on the architectural details and lush foliage partially obscuring the building's entrance. The steps, made of stone, appear aged and worn, with a stone balustrade on the right side. The image has a warm sepia tone, accentuating the contrast between sunlight and shadows. Vegetation is abundant, with vines and shrubbery casting shadows on the stairs and walls. In the distance, a grassy area leads to a circular fountain or pond.
