Biography

Mr. Colin was an attorney. He represented, among others, the New York branch of the Buchholz Gallery, run by Curt Valentin. After Valentin's death in 1954, Colin supervised the liquidation of the gallery. In 1962 Colin organized the Art Dealers Association of America. In the 1950's and 1960's he was active on the Board of the Museum of Modern Art. In the early 1920's he and Eugene O'Neill had directed the Provincetown Playhouse and the Greenwich Village Theater.
