Beside him, an older man leans forward holding a basket of fruit. In the center-back, a second seated man is viewed from behind, holding a cup. In front of him is a bird. To the right, a standing woman looks towards the group with her arm outstretched. The background features a wooden beam ceiling, a shelf with jugs, and a window with lattice-pane detailing.
