The image features a landscape drawing depicting a river meandering through a winter scene. The horizon is marked by a line of trees, with a waterfall centrally located. Leafless trees with twisting trunks frame the scene, alongside a small structure partially hidden by branches. The drawing is executed in a bold, expressive style with black and gray tones against an off-white background.

The image shows a series of intersecting lines and curved shapes enclosed within a square border. The central focus is an oval shape intersected by vertical and horizontal lines. Vertical lines on the left and right edges resemble tall pillars or skyscrapers, while arcs above and below the oval shape suggest a dome or canopy. The arrangement of lines and shapes hints at architectural elements of a cityscape or a theatrical setting.
