Randon de Boisset, Pierre-Louis-Paul

Biography

Randon de Boisset was the son of Françoise Juillet and Randon de la Randonnière. In 1758 he was named Receveur général des finances de Lyon. He first began collecting books, and following a 1753 trip to Italy, paintings. Part of the Randon de Boisset collection was sold in December of 1775, prior to his death. His estate sale was held in Paris in February 1777.
