Biography

The son of Sir John Pollard Willoughby, 4th Bt. and Member of Parliament, and his second wife, Maria Elizabeth Hawkes, Sir John Christopher succeeded his father as Baronet in 1866. He served for a time as Justice of the Peace in Oxfordshire, and was a major in the Royal Horse Guards Blue (retired by 1904).
