Jackson, Thomas Scott

Biography

Jackson was one of the Directors of the Bank of England. Around 1771, he commissioned George Romney to paint his wife's portrait (now in the NGA). His daughter and sole heir, Maria [d. 1830], married Sir John Grey-Egerton, 8th Bt. in 1795.
