Biography

The Duke held the additional title of Baron Mortier de Trévise. He was President of "La Sauvegarde," for the protection of French art and monuments. He also organized a show and sale at the Hôtel Jean Charpentier in 1924 to benefit this society. Mortier married Yvonne Lastrange in 1913; they divorced in 1926 without children.
