William III, King of England

Biography

William III was born in The Hague, 14 November 1650, only son of William II, Prince of Orange, and the Princess Mary, his wife, eldest daughter of Charles I, married November 4, 1677, Queen Mary, eldest daughter of James II. Queen Mary was born on April 30, 1662, and died at Kensington on December 28, 1694, and was buried at Westminster. The King died at Kensington on March 8, 1702, and was buried at Westminster as well. William III and Mary II were crowned on April 11, 1689; having no issue, the Crown, at the decease of William III, developed upon the Queen's sister, Anne. (Taken from Burke's Peerage, see below).
