Dexter, Gordon
American, 1864 - 1937
Gordon born 12 August 1864 to Franklin Gordon Dexter [1824-1903] and Susan Greene Amory Dexter [1840-1924]. His mother was a descendant of the artist John Singleton Copley [1738-1815]. Gordon was graduated from Harvard in 1887. He married firstly, Annie Linzee Amory [d.1916], 1 Febuary 1906 and secondly, Isabella Hunnewell, January 1930. During his life, Gordon was director of Submarine Signal Co., director of Hunt-Spiller Manufacturing Corp., and director of Mexican Northern Mining & Ry. Co. Gordon died 10 March 1937.
