The image shows a canal with various people and boats nearby, next to a large architectural structure. In the foreground, a small boat is being rowed by two men, with one rowing and the other talking to a woman by some stone steps. The entrance to the architectural structure, decorated with columns and archwork, is visible to the left. More people are walking by the canal, and additional boats are on the water. The horizon is low, with buildings and a sailboat in the distance. The sky above is filled with clouds and birds. The color scheme is mainly bluish-grey, creating a soft, muted look with shadows and highlights providing depth.
