This painting shows a group of potted pansies. There is a large basket filled with yellow pansies on the left, surrounded by at least four smaller terracotta pots on the right containing purple, white, blue, and orange pansies. The flowers have black markings near the centers of their petals and are surrounded by wide green leaves. The basket and pots are placed on a flat gray surface in front of a lighter gray wall.
