The image depicts a woman and three children in front of a wooden house structure. The woman, a boy, and two girls are dressed in simple clothing. The woman is leaning forward with both hands outstretched towards the boy. The boy wears blue shorts, one girl wears a light blue dress, and the other girl wears a similar blue dress. The porch is aged with debris scattered around, and there is a partially open door revealing the interior of the house. A metal tub hangs on the exterior wall next to the door.
