    The image is a sketch showing two figures in full length. The person on the right, a taller male figure, is standing upright holding the hand of a smaller figure to the left. The male has a simple face with a downward glance and short, slightly curved hair under a cap. He wears a long coat with buttons and tall boots, suggesting attire with a military influence, and a belt with pouches around his waist. The child, positioned to the left, looks up at the taller figure. They have a face with delicate features, and curly hair accentuated by a bow or hair accessory. The child is dressed in a knee-length skirt or dress with a collar and polka dot pattern, wearing shoes or sandals. In one hand, the child holds a few flowers. There is no detailed background, as the emphasis remains on the figures, sketched on a plain, light-colored paper. The signature "Ch. Béizard" is inscribed at the bottom right corner.
