The artwork depicts an evening scene along the Nile River. The horizon is positioned high, where a group of people on camels are silhouetted against a golden sky. Close to us, a figure is walking along the water's edge with a vessel. The landscape features sparse trees in the distance, their forms sketched against the sky. The color palette includes yellows, pinks, and greens. The brushstrokes are delicate.
