The sculpture is a circular relief medallion featuring two figures. The central subject is a robed figure holding a torch in her right hand. Beside her is a smaller figure standing on a pedestal reaching towards the torch. The figures are depicted in a classical style, with the larger figure dressed in a draped garment. The medallion is bronze in color, suggesting it is made from a metal like bronze. The border of the medallion has an intricate, woven pattern. Inscribed to the right of the figures are the words "THE ADMISSION OF INDIANA TO THE UNION." The sculpture is detailed and skillfully rendered.

The image shows a sculpture with a rustic scene that includes a buffalo in the foreground and a man chopping down a tree. The background features a landscape with large rays of a sun. The sculpture is circular with the word "INDIANA" embossed across the top curve. At the bottom, the dates "1816" and "1916" are inscribed, separated by a single star. The sculpture is primarily brown and appears worn with a slightly tarnished surface.

The sculpture is of a young child, depicted in a playful pose, standing with one arm raised while holding a round object in the air. The child appears to be leaning slightly forward, with the head tilted to one side. The sculpture is crafted from a material with a green patina, likely bronze. Resting on a circular base, the sculpture is life-sized in proportion to the size of a child, though its scale relative to human figures in the real world is reduced. The details of the hair and facial features are finely rendered.
