    This is a painting of a person in traditional attire walking past a house with illuminated paper windows showing silhouettes inside. The scene depicts a small house with a thatched roof set against a clear, gradient blue sky. In the foreground, a figure dressed in a red and blue patterned robe with a green obi appears to be observing or passing by the house, while gazing at the shadows of two figures visible through the softly glowing shoji screen. One of the silhouettes inside seems to be playing a musical instrument resembling a shamisen. The setting is serene and reflective, with shadows cast on the ground suggesting early evening or dawn. There is a bare tree visible to the left.
