This is a painting of a squirrel with a bushy tail and pointed ears. Its fur is a rich, warm reddish-brown, with patches of white on its chest and stomach. The squirrel is depicted facing slightly to the left, sitting on its haunches with its tail curling upwards behind it and its front paws raised to its mouth, holding a small, round, brown object. Its black eyes are large and framed by its long dark whiskers. The background is neutral, off-white paper.
