This is a painting of individuals traveling on a rugged landscape led by a mounted figure wielding a spear-like weapon. The group is moving along a worn path on a grassy mound under a partly cloudy sky. The central figure on horseback is wearing a dark uniform with red accents and is looking back at the group following behind, who appear to be walking. Among them, one figure is dressed in a light-colored garment, contrasting with the darker outfits of others. The background shows a vast open landscape with a distant structure visible on the horizon. The sky is expansive, with clouds casting shadows, creating a sense of depth and atmosphere.
