The image displays a scene from a canal, showing a palazzo on the right. A small arched bridge crosses over the water at the end of the canal. Numerous figures are gathered on and around gondolas, with detailed and vibrant brushstrokes highlighting textures and movement in their clothing. The color palette is rich and varied, with bright attire in reds, pinks, and blues worn by the figures closer to us, contrasting against softer tones of the architecture and the sky. The water reflects these colors, adding depth. In the distance, the canal leads to a narrowing of buildings, with a tall church tower extending into the sky.
