This painting shows a seascape, with the horizon low in the scene. There are waves crashing towards us, approaching a rocky brown outcropping on the left side. The color palette includes shades of pale blue, gray, and green, and the waves are topped with streaks of white. The sky is cloudy and gray with some hints of pale yellow, and there are small birds flying above the waves.
