The painting depicts a landscape viewed from a slightly elevated perspective. The horizon is near the top third of the image, separating distant hills from the sky. Light brushstrokes create a dreamy sky with drifting clouds. The color palette includes soft blues, grays, and earthy browns. Two figures are in the foreground, partially obscured by rocks and foliage. The landscape extends into the distance with textured hills and valleys fading into a misty horizon.
