Remarks
The dates for this photograph and Key Set numbers 1439–1444 are based on information contained in the Stieglitz–O’Keeffe correspondence. On 6 October 1931 Stieglitz wrote to Herbert Seligmann, “At dawn we start for N.Y. I have been photographing like mad for the last 10 days—nudes chiefly. Large old fashioned fever heat” (all YCAL).
