The image depicts a man standing with his right shoulder raised, leaning slightly to his left. He has a full face with a slight smile, light skin, and short hair mostly covered by a hat. He is wearing a hat with the word "GANG" on a yellow band, a dark fur coat, a blue shirt, blue pants tucked into dark brown boots, and green gloves. He is holding a long pole with a brush or feather duster on the end over his left shoulder. The background is a light wash with some faint darker areas, signed "Gavarni" in the lower right corner.
