Credits and Acknowledgments
The Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts fosters study of the production, use, and cultural meaning of art, artifacts, architecture, urbanism, photography, and film from all places and periods.
We support research in the visual arts from scholars in art and architectural history as well as those in related disciplines. The Center is also committed to broadening areas of research pertaining to visual and architectural worlds while fostering increased participation in academic and arts professions.
Our annual report has been published since 1981 and records the activities and research conducted at the Center during each academic year.
