Overview: Books with engravings of ancient sculpture and architecture and depictions of life in ancient Rome acquired by the National Gallery of Art Library through the J. Carter Brown Memorial Fund were on view in this exhibition. Included was Electorum libri II, an illustrated book of essays by Philippe Rubens, the elder brother of artist Peter Paul Rubens.
