Constance McCabe was head of the photograph conservation department at the National Gallery of Art. She edited the multiauthor volumes Coatings on Photographs: Materials, Techniques, and Conservation (2005) and Platinum and Palladium Photographs: Technical History, Connoisseurship, and Preservation (2017).
