Painting conservator

Joanna Dunn is a painting conservator at the National Gallery of Art. She holds an MS in art conservation with a specialty in paintings from the Winterthur/University of Delaware program in art conservation. During her tenure at the National Gallery of Art, she has treated paintings in the collection by American and European artists from the 15th through 19th centuries. She has also researched, published, and lectured on a wide variety of the paintings in the National Gallery’s collection.
