Lara Yeager-Crasselt
Lara Yeager-Crasselt is curator of the Leiden Collection, a private collection of Dutch and Flemish art based in New York. A specialist in 17th-century Dutch and Flemish art, her research focuses on painting, sculpture, and tapestry in the southern Netherlands, especially in and around Brussels, the dynamics of artistic exchange between the Netherlands and Italy, and broader issues of artistic mobility, identity, and collaboration. She is the author of Michael Sweerts (1618–1664): Shaping the Artist and the Academy in Rome and Brussels, published in Brepols’ Pictura Nova series in 2015.
