Mark Levitch

Mark Levitch is the Stieglitz online project coordinator in the department of photographs at the National Gallery of Art and has been a researcher and writer for the Gallery’s departments of photographs, education, and modern art. He is the founder and president of the World War I Memorial Inventory Project and the author of Panthéon de la Guerre: Reconfiguring a Panorama of the Great War (2006), as well as several articles and essays on the art and visual culture of World War I.
