Lichtenstein’s works, like his 1965 Reverie, the inspiration for this video, borrow imagery from pop culture and mass media, including comics. The National Gallery of Art became the largest repository of Roy Lichtenstein’s works when he donated 154 prints and two books to the museum in 1996.
