In this video, artist William Anastasi creates a masterpiece by displacing bits of plaster into a pile. By manipulating plaster and bits of metal, he creates an intricate and mesmerizing sculpture. Gouging the wall with sharp instruments, Anastasi creates his sculpture by displacing bits of plaster into a pile. The plaster “issued” from the excavated wall sits at its base.
