The sculpture depicts a standing figure of a man dressed in a historic costume, wearing a feathered headdress, a flowing garment, a long red cloak draped over one shoulder, knee-high boots, and having a broad, muscular build. The sculpture is colored in rich earthy tones, with emphasis on warm browns for his skin and bright reds for his cloak, and made of a material that resembles painted wood. The man holds an object resembling a staff or baton in one hand. The figure's head is slightly tilted to the side, with a neutral expression looking forward. The sculpture stands upright on a square base, and it is life-sized.
