Jean-Baptiste Nattier

Artist, French, 1678 - 1726

The image depicts a man from the thighs up, in a dynamic pose with his body twisted to the side. His right arm is raised, bent at the elbow, with his hand near his mouth, and his left hand is raised above his head. The man's facial features are partially obscured by his hand, his eyes are directed upwards, and he has mid-length hair. He is not wearing any clothing, and his muscular torso is detailed. The background is a simple, textured surface.
