This vertical, black and white photograph focuses on a dark-haired, barefoot man of short stature wearing a diaper and party hat, which bears the year, 1943. His left hand, to our right, reaches overhead and rests on a bar. His left foot perches on the footrail, and he holds a full glass to his pursed lips. He is surrounded by a black field, which eventually becomes evident as people wearing dark suits, their heads cropped by the top edge of the image.
