The image shows a scene of a steep incline leading to a cluster of high-rise buildings in the distance. The horizon is not visible, and the buildings are at the top of the rise. The artwork features fine lines and cross-hatching, possibly done in an etching or drypoint technique, detailing the structures and the jagged slope. The color scheme is black and grey on an off-white background. Slanting lines lead the eye to the skyline and the towering spires, creating a dynamic composition.
