This is a drawing of a group of armored individuals gathered around a large barrel containing a man's head. The central figure is pushing the large barrel which features spikes and a visage inside. The background includes foliage, trees, and a distant castle. The hatching and line work create a tactile quality throughout the composition, emphasizing textures of clothing and nature. The work is reminiscent of engravings from the Northern Renaissance.
