This is a print of a landscape filled with various animals. Two men stand in the center. The man on the left has a beard and wears a draped robe. In one hand he holds a torch, and his other hand is on the shoulder of the man next to him. The man on the right has long, curled hair and is nude. His arms appear to hang by his side, and one of his legs is bent in front of the other. Behind them are rolling hills with low plants and distant trees. Animals such as sheep, lions, elephants, turtles, monkeys, cows, and deer occupy the landscape around them. Above them, large, rolling clouds fill the sky. At the top, a person sits in a horse-drawn chariot, surrounded by a circle of bright light. To the left, two more people stand on the clouds, one holding a shield and a spear and the other holding a long, indistinct object. Below the print are several lines of text.

Prometheus Making Man and Animating Him with Fire from Heaven

Robert de Baudous

1590

This is a drawing of a pastoral scene featuring a woodland with livestock. The drawing depicts a wooded area with one figure playing a wind instrument while sitting against a large tree. Another figure is seated on the ground, holding a staff, accompanied by a cow nearby. In the foreground, a small herd of sheep and a dog can be seen. The composition includes a variety of trees with dense foliage, framing the scene. The line work creates texture and depth in the landscape, typical of etching or engraving techniques.
