Artist After, Flemish, c. 1590 - 1658

This is a drawing of a seated bearded figure with a halo, holding a quill, alongside a winged animal. The figure is draped in robes and is holding a quill pen in their right hand. Beside the figure is a large winged creature, resting at their feet. The setting includes architectural elements in the background. In the foreground, a cup or chalice stands alone. The illustration is detailed with strong lines and shading, reminiscent of classic woodcut designs.
