Artist, Bolognese, active 1468/1484

This is a circular medallion depicting a scene with four people in a relief carving. On the left, a seated man looks up at three women standing to the right. The women appear to be engaged in conversation or a presentation, with one of them holding a staff and shield. Above the group, there is a small, winged child flying over the scene. In the background are the leaves of a tall tree. The medallion appears gold, with several areas of dark brown patina obscuring many details.
