Artist, Flemish, 1610 - 1660 or after

The image depicts a man crucified on a wooden cross with his outstretched arms nailed to the crossbeam. He has long hair and wears a crown of thorns on his head, along with a cloth around his waist. A woman kneels below the cross, grasping it and looking up at the man. Beside her are two others, also looking at the man. In the background, several soldiers, one holding a spear, and a horse are present. The scene is set against a cloudy sky with outlines of distant structures, suggesting a hilly landscape. An inscription is placed above the man's head on the cross. The image is in a monochromatic style with contrasting light and shadow.
