Provenance

The artist's daughter, Tanis Garber Page [1906-1990]; her children, Michael W. Page [d. 1988], Robin Benjamin Page [d. 2004], and Frances Page Salberta;[1] bequest 28 December 2007 to the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington; acquired 2016 by the National Gallery of Art.
[1] Tanis Garber Page left the painting to her children in trust for use during their lives; after the death of the surviving child it was to go to the Corcoran.
