The hills rise to meet the horizon where a mountainous ridge is visible. The sky is detailed with fine linear strokes and cross-hatching to create clouds and light gradations. The color palette is monochromatic with dramatic contrasts between black and white, highlighting the title, "Drifting Shadows."
