The image shows a landscape with donkeys carrying loads, led by figures. The viewpoint appears slightly elevated, with a horizon line placed about a quarter of the way from the top. The sky is clear with some clouds. The scene is depicted using fine, detailed, cross-hatched lines, typical of etchings. Closest to us, donkeys laden with barrels and boxes walk along a dirt path. Further away, the path leads into hilly terrain with more figures and cargo. The color palette is monochrome, primarily black and grey shades, emphasizing texture and contrast.
